Doing the Most Good in Central Oklahoma

With the great Oklahoma land rush, The Salvation Army came bringing the love of God and service to mankind. When the first oil boom brought wealth and heartbreak, Salvation Army officers and volunteers trudged through tent cities and muddy streets preaching and praying, singing and feeding.

Through boom or bust, devastating tornadoes or national tragedies, whatever Central Oklahoma went through, The Salvation Army was there.

TODAY, The Salvation Army continues doing the most good with your contributions of money, time and resources. Our programs provide for the physical and spiritual needs of families and individuals through after school programs, shelters, rehabilitation programs, and year-long emergency assistance services.

NOW, after fifty years of operation in a one block area of Oklahoma City, we have been asked to relocate to make way for the revitalization of downtown. This opportunity to upgrade our programs and services has produced a ten year Master Plan with a Capital Campaign entitled, Investing in Futures.

Included in this Plan is a CENTER OF HOPE complex that will place all our major services on one campus. Our vision extends to Cleveland and Canadian Counties with family shelters, service centers, and Boys and Girls Clubs.

As you navigate through our site, please prayerfully consider your partnership with us through the giving of your time, talent and treasure. Thank you and may God bless you.
